Is FerXium really free forever?+
Yes. The source code is MIT licensed. There are no paid editions, subscriptions, upgrade prompts, or limits created to sell you a higher tier.
Does it collect my data?+
The application has no telemetry, analytics, or sample uploads. Signature updates contact only the feed you explicitly configure. This static website includes no analytics or tracking scripts.
Can I replace my current antivirus today?+
This is an early source preview with example signatures, not independently certified endpoint protection. Keep your existing protection while testing FerXium. See the documentation for exact coverage.
What does real-time monitoring cover?+
Created and modified files in selected folders, plus sampled running executable files. Native watchers observe changes after they occur; this release does not block file access or execution.
What about Windows, macOS, and Linux?+
The source targets all three platforms. CI builds check each platform. Signed public installers will appear on the download page when release validation is complete.
